Stop Being the Operational Centre of Your Own Business.
This Is Not a Retainer for Advice
This is not a coaching program. Not a monthly strategy call with takeaways you implement on your own. Not a playbook handed off for your team to figure out.
You get senior-level operational expertise and hands-on execution without the cost, overhead, or commitment of a full-time hire.
The Fractional COO Partnership means Funnel Forward is inside your business every month, identifying priorities and executing on them. Systems built and refined. Documentation maintained. CRM and workflows updated. Operational reviews completed. Real deliverables, every month.
We do not advise and leave. We build it with you.
What Works at $1M Breaks at $3M
Systems are not set and forget. What holds together when your team is four people strains when it becomes eight. Processes that ran on habit start fracturing when volume doubles. Documentation goes stale. Workflows drift. The owner becomes the default answer to every gap.
Without ongoing operational attention, three things happen:
▫️Processes revert to informal habits▫️Documentation stops reflecting how the business actually runs
▫️The owner becomes the single point of contact for every problem again
Missed follow-ups slip through. Leads do not get captured consistently. Onboarding is inconsistent from one hire to the next. None of these are sales problems or marketing problems. They are operational gaps, and they compound.
Operational momentum requires ongoing execution. The Fractional COO Partnership maintains what is working, refines what is not, and builds what sustainable growth requires next.

Two Ways to Enter the Partnership
The Fractional COO Partnership is the right next step for two types of businesses. Both arrive at the same place: an embedded operations partner executing alongside them on an ongoing basis.
After the Foundation Build
You have completed the Operations Foundation Build, Discovery through Drive. Your systems are in place. The Fractional COO Partnership protects that investment, maintains the momentum, and keeps your operations evolving as your business grows. For most clients completing the Foundation Build, this is the natural next step.
Already Operationalized
Your operations are already structured, built by you or a previous partner, and you need an experienced operations partner to refine, optimize, and execute on an ongoing basis. You can enter the Fractional COO Partnership directly, starting with a consultation call or Growth Ops Diagnostic to confirm the fit.
Operations not yet in place? You will see stronger results beginning with the Operations Foundation Build.
Not sure where you stand? Start with the Growth Ops Diagnostic.
What the Partnership Looks Like Every Month
Every engagement is scoped to where your business is and where it is headed. Across each month, expect:
- Operational priorities identified and executed, not just flagged
- Systems refined and optimized as your business evolves
- SOPs, documentation, and training materials built and maintained
- CRM, tech stack, and core tool optimization as your needs change
- Team structure review: as your roster of employees or subcontractors shifts, we keep your operational structure aligned with who is actually doing the work
- Regular operational reviews with data-driven insights
- A partner who knows your business and moves without being re-briefed every time
As the partnership matures, we work toward establishing a structured operational rhythm with you and your team: consistent weekly check-ins, quarterly planning sessions, and annual reviews that keep priorities clear and everyone accountable. For businesses ready to build that cadence, we lead it.
In the first 30 days, discovery is woven directly into execution. We learn your business, identify gaps, and build a clear roadmap. We move into active work quickly.
The result: owner-independent operations that scale with your growth, and an operational foundation built for the long term, whether you are growing toward your next revenue milestone or building toward an eventual exit.
Is the Fractional COO Partnership the Right Fit?
Right fit:
▫️Trades or home services business: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping, roofing, renovation contracting▫️Owner-operator with 1 to 15 employees and $750K to $5M or more in annual revenue
▫️Operations already in place and in need of ongoing refinement, optimisation, and senior-level execution
▫️Or: completed the Operations Foundation Build and ready for ongoing partnership to maintain momentum
▫️Serving residential clients or light commercial work across Canada or the United States
▫️Looking for a partner embedded in the business, not an outside observer
A different starting point may be a better fit if:
- Operations are not yet in place (the Operations Foundation Build is the right first step)
- You are looking for advice, a coaching program, or a one-time engagement
- Your business is in general contracting, heavy commercial, industrial, or institutional work
Investment
The Fractional COO Partnership is scoped to what your business actually needs each month. Investment scales with the level of operational support required.
Starting from $2,500 CAD | $1,875 USD per month.
Minimum three-month commitment. Monthly, quarterly, and annual arrangements are available. Quarterly and annual commitments offer savings compared to month-to-month investment.

We embed into your business. Month one includes discovery woven into execution. Then we move.
Common Questions
No. Businesses with operations already in place can enter directly. Completing the Foundation Build is one path in, not the only one. If your operations are not yet built, we will recommend starting there first.
It depends on your business and what matters most right now. A month might include system refinements, SOP updates, CRM work, dashboard reviews, team-facing training materials, or operational roadmap work. Every month has tangible deliverables. You will never receive a summary call and a list of homework.
A part-time hire is on your payroll, limited to day-to-day execution, and may not bring the senior operational experience your business needs at this stage. The Fractional COO Partnership gives you experienced operational leadership and hands-on execution without the recruiting process, salary, benefits, or overhead of a permanent hire. When and if it makes sense to bring operations fully in-house, we can help you build toward that transition too.
Three months. This is the minimum required to embed properly, establish operational rhythm, and deliver results that stick.
Yes. As your priorities evolve, the work adjusts with them. That flexibility is built into how the partnership operates.
HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping, roofing, and residential renovation contracting across Canada and the United States. Owner-operators with 1 to 15 employees and $750K to $5M or more in annual revenue.
Ready for an Operations Partner Who Does the Work?
Whether you are continuing from the Foundation Build or entering the Fractional COO Partnership directly, the outcome is the same: operations that keep pace with your growth, systems that do not depend on you to hold them together, and the bandwidth to run your business without being the bottleneck in every decision.
